Information we collect

• Account data: your email address, display name and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile fields Google shares.
• Content you post: deals, comments and votes you submit, which are publicly visible.
• Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use your data to operate your account, display the content you post, moderate the site, prevent abuse and spam, and improve what we publish. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (for example Amazon) may set its own cookie to attribute the referral. That cookie is controlled by the retailer under its own privacy policy, not by us. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

Analytics and measurement

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which deals and guides are useful. This data is aggregated and is not used to build advertising profiles. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

Your rights under the DPDP Act and GDPR

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to access a summary of your personal data, request correction or erasure, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with us. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time. We process personal data on the lawful bases of consent (for optional cookies and alerts) and legitimate interests (for security, fraud prevention and running the site).

To exercise any of these rights, or to reach our grievance officer, write to hello@sdeals.in from your registered email address. We respond within 30 days.

Third parties

We rely on hosting, database and authentication providers to run the site. They process data only on our instructions. Outbound links go to retailers and publishers with their own policies.

Retention and your rights

We keep account data while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to us from your registered email address via the contact page. Deleting your account removes your profile; published deals may remain in anonymised form.

Children

S Deals is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
